His journey began as a teenager in Tripoli, Libya, where he trained under master tailors at the Waddan Hotel, eventually becoming proficient in high-standard laundering and ironing for senior officials. After years of honing his craft - including running his own business, the Green Laundry - he relocated to the UK.

In England, Danto steadily advanced through the dry-cleaning industry, working at respected establishments such as Timpson, Spectrum Dry Cleaning, American Dry Cleaning, and Blanc Natural Drycleaners, where he led a team of 52 workers and specialised in eco-conscious garment care. His most recent role at London Dry Cleaning Ltd reflects his continued dedication to excellence.

Alongside his professional career, Danto is also a musician, channelling the clean lines and resonant sounds of his desert upbringing into his art. Whether in the laundry room or on stage, he remains deeply connected to the spirit of the Sahara.
